Matthew Herbert has made music from the life of a pig, a bomb exploding in Libya, an orgasm, someone swimming the English channel, a tank driving over a meal made for Tony Blair, 20,000 dogs, 245 shops in a shopping centre and countless thousands of other noises. He has scored Oscar-winning films, tv shows, plays, opera and games. He has written a book called The Music which is a description of an album he’ll never make and is currently writing the follow up.

In amongst creating major film scores, re-animating a Horse skeleton in musical form and tracking the sounds of a banana as it travels halfway around the world, Matthew Herbert is bringing his uniquely identifying style of house music to stages this autumn ahead of a new album release in 2025. The stripped back live show features vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Momoko Gill (Tirzah, Coby Sey, Alabaster De Plume) and includes tracks from across the renowned producer’s catalogue of dance music including albums Bodily Functions, Around The House, Musca and his much sought after DJ 12” series ‘Parts 1-8’ New music will also be heard from the forthcoming album on Accidental - Ture.

- infoSarah Davachi (b. 1987, Canada) is a composer and performer whose work is concerned with the close intricacies of timbral and temporal space, utilizing extended durations and considered harmonic structures that emphasize gradual variations in texture, overtone complexity, psychoacoustic phenomena, and tuning and intonation. Her compositions span solo, chamber ensemble, and acousmatic formats, incorporating a wide range of acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Similarly informed by minimalist and longform tenets, early music concepts of form and harmony, as well as experimental production practices of the studio environment, in her sound is an intimate and patient experience that lessens perceptions of the familiar and the distant.

- infoMdou Moctar in its current iteration is first and foremost a band. Alongside Moctar, it consists of rhythm guitarist Ahmoudou Madassane, drummer Souleymane Ibrahim, and American bassist and producer Mikey Coltun. The band got their start performing at traditional weddings. These are high energy events – amps are dialed up to 11 and the whole town is invited to attend. "I grew up in the DC punk scene and this is no different," explains Coltun. "It’s a DIY punk show: people bring generators, they crank their amps. Things are broken, but they make it work."
Funeral For Justice is the new album by Mdou Moctar to be released in 2024.
